My main reason for seeking membership on the Arts and Cultural Diversity Commission is to serve my community. I am excited, ready and willing to invest my time and energy to help make our city a truly diverse, culturally rich community. In addition being a member of the commission would afford me the opportunity to meet and strategize with like minded members of our community and hopefully create some new and exciting ideas and events that will help strengthen and unify our community. I am a retired High School Special Education Teacher Consultant, while employed I was a member of several committees: Social Committee Chairperson, Skills USA Advisor, PBIS Chairperson (Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports), Diversity Committee Member, Facilitator of "in house" Special Education Workshops. And I am a Certified Event Planner.
