I've been a homeowner in Eastpointe for several years now, and while I hold a deep affection for this city, it strikes me that, often, we find ourselves leaving town in search of enjoyable activities, despite the ample and beautiful spaces available. As a photographer, artist, and dedicated DIY enthusiast, I appreciate the value of creative expression and community engagement. Gardening & food cultivation are passions that align with my desire to enhance our local quality of life. My unwavering commitment to service drives me to create environments and experiences that foster unity among diverse cultures, religions, and backgrounds - recognizing that diversity is the antidote to intolerance. While I may not have the traditional educational qualifications for a board role, my real-world experience brings a unique set of strengths to the table. I excel in leadership, team collaboration, and decision-making with a strong focus on empathy and inclusivity. My neurodivergent perspective enhances my project planning and attention to detail. My passion for diversity drives me to ensure that our community remains as diverse as possible. I work harmoniously with individuals from various age groups, professional backgrounds, and social contexts. As an artist and photographer, I bring an artistic eye to the board, which can enrich our discussions and strategies.
