| I am a multi-media artist. I have had multiple pieces of my art featured in art shows. I am an active member currently serving on the ACDC in Eastpointe. I have worked on the inception and planning Shamrock Day, Paint A Car, the Annual Art Show, Through Your Lens photography show and many more. On the ACDC, I have served as a Trustee and as Secretary. I would like to be reappointed to the ACDC to continue working on bringing art to our city, planning events to foster diversity and inclusion and to establish fun activities for the citizens of Eastpointe. New form asks about any professional qualifications, work experience, or community involvement relative to the board or commission: In addition to the ACDC, I was a volunteer at Bellview Elementary and in their PTO. I served as secretary of Cub Scout Pack 1909. I served as President of Macomb County Marine Corps League Auxiliary. I am an active member of the community. I am currently working for an insurance broker in their accounting department. I have been working there for 15 years as of 12/18/21. I have over 30 years of experience in accounting. I am experience in budgeting and deadlines. My experience in all these areas helps me perform my duties on the ACDC. My previous volunteer experience has taught me how to communicate effectively with people from the age of a young child to our elderly population. My accounting background helps with the logistics of planning events within our budget. |
