| I am a retired Elem Teacher with a Master's Degree. I have served one term on the Arts & Cultural Diversity Committee & helped plan the activities as described in our annual report. I originally applied for this commission because of my interest in the Arts and my volunteer activities in promoting the Arts & Diversity while working in the Utica Schools. We painted murals on the walls, organized district wide attendance at MCCC cultural performances, scheduled speakers for the students to better understand diversity as our constituency changed. I would like the opportunity to again serve on this committee to help achieve the monthly goals that we had to stop due to the pandemic. Thank you. |
